The CEO story

Hi, i’m Ohad Shaked, an entrepreneur and
investor, the Co-founder and CEO of ThinkUp.

After two and a half years in my last venture, “Thinkz” I realized how hard it is to craft a startup. How time-consuming it is to engage with the ecosystem experts, reach potential customers worldwide, understand and get a good view of the industry landscape, and validate my idea and value proposition to enter Actualization.

I started another venture (Thinkz) 3 years ago (early 2018).

We had the resources to buy any market research.

I started out with a team of 15 advisors.

We had some network.

A year later we had around 5 experienced team members.

It took months to make progress

We kept spending time on research (Google, free market research reports), coming up with ideas and then looking for relevant people to talk to.

Setting up meetings took weeks, and then getting back relevant, helpful feedback wasn’t always easy. we pivoted many times until we landed on a good idea.

And then I thought to myself: “why isn’t there a digital platform to help me throughout this process?”

I wanted to Think Up

I imagined a platform where I could easily upload all of my ideas, from anywhere in the world, get instant basic market mapping (to understand my landscape and fine-tune my idea), share and validate my idea with 100’s of relevant experts and potential customers from around the world!!
All within 1-2 weeks!

I called Ron Navon… and the rest is history… (in the making)
